Icarus and the Fall

photo by lolamouse (s.tardio) oct. 2012

 Eight legged goddess
Dead center, lamplit doily
Warm autumn whispers

One parchment winged moth
Icarus to her false sun
Enshrouded pilgrim

Love the photo! Love the goddess and the enshrouded pilgrim . . .There is little spidery that I don't like, but I would put this up on the TOP SHELF among the BEST.

I like comparison of the web to a doily. Come into my parlor...

What a fantastic line. I love the whole concept of this poem, and the photo just finishes it off.
